Airframe classes

We have started airframe class and it is getting more interesting. Much less time spent in the classroom.  The first sections are electrical, welding and fabric covering.  For electrical the teacher gave us a list of items (push to test light, rehostat, two solenoids, everything circuit or fuse protected, magneto switch) that must be in our project and we had to contruct it from scratch with everything included. In tube and fabric, our group got the tail of a Taylorcraft airplane and had to remove the old fabric and attach new. In welding we spent alot of time welding scrap pieces together. Today I got to use a TIG welder which I’ve never done before.
